About us

About us

Established in 2008 and located in Shekou,  Nanshan district of
Shenzhen,  Peninsula Montessori Kindergarten  aims to offer an
authentic  Montessori  education  based  on  the  principles and
methods of Maria Montessori.

Our mission

It is our mission to respect and care for life. We wish to cultivate in the child the noblest qualities of humanity so as to enable him or her to live a happy life and to spread harmony in society. It is our responsibility and honor to do so.

Why

If there is one set of traits that exemplifies the success of a Montessori school, it is that their students are creative, responsible and highly independent. If independence is coveted above all else, it is because it creates the freedom that is needed to develop, both academically and socially. Montessori helps children to think and act for themselves, independently and with the courage of thought.

EXCELLENT EDUCATION

The Montessori approach is one of the best solutions to meet the needs of modern society. Differences in socioeconomic status, race and nationality do not impair the success of Montessori education, because this approach reflects the universal development of children around the world. The success of the Montessori approach comes from thorough observation and understanding of children. It follows the laws of development, that is, children’s “sensitive periods”, and helps children freely develop themselves. After more than a hundred years of implementation, the Montessori approach has gained the respect of people around the world, and many Montessori schools have made prolific achievements.

DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE FACILITIES

The developmental needs of children change as they grow, so their learning environment should meet their needs at their specific stage of development. Through years of observation, Montessori has created an environment that serves the particular needs of the child at their particular stage.
